How has the Clinician database been built?

Our database has taken four years to build and refine and has been built by our expert clinical team to ensure that it covers the whole UK in all the clinical parameters that are important to allow effective clinical signposting. The data has been researched and curated by hand by our expert clinicians and is kept up to date in the same manner to ensure our data is as accurate as possible.

We do not perform mass scraping of websites to collect data.

How often is the database kept up to date?
Daily.
Do you use AI?
We don’t use AI at present but we do have plans to integrate AI into our platform as it develops over time and in response to customer feedback.
Can the Triage platform Triage all conditions?
The information completed by the patient on the clinical form is to capture a large amount of information that clinicians use to be able to effectively plan the physical assessment so once an experienced clinician has read the information they should have a good idea what the patients issue may be.

It is important to note here though that while our aim is to ensure we get a diagnosis as quick as possible for the patient – our software has been designed so that clinicians can use up to date clinical information to allow effective sign posting. For instance – if a patient plays football and suffers a twisting / valgus injury to the knee associated with popping, swelling and severe pain and discomfort – which eases fairly quickly and then leaves them with an unstable knee – we will not (digitally) be able to predict the exact anatomical structure which is injured but will be able to say with certainty that, that patient should seek a clinical opinion for someone experienced in soft tissue knee injuries – whether that be a physiotherapist, Sports Medicine Consultant or Soft Tissue Knee Surgeon.
